3.2.7 Shortcut Keys

Click the button at the bottom right to open the operations panel. This will appear on the right side of the screen. Next click the "Shortcut Keys" tab at the bottom left side of the panel to display the Shortcut Keys list.

The default setting for the Shortcut Keys button at the bottom of the panel is "OFF". Click the button to switch it to "ON". This will activate all the shortcut keys on the list.

Looking down on the planet from outer space
< , > Change planet
, change observation point
shift + space Land at the current observation point
Looking up to outer space from the planet
, Change observation point
shift + space Take off to outer space
Observation point settings
shift + < , > Change latitude
shift + , Change longitude
Display settings(ON/OFF)
S Enlarged planet view
H Headlights( shines light on planet)
N Planet name
A Axis of rotation
O Orbit path
L Constellation name and line
G Nebula & star cluster names
F Fixed star names
M Milky way
E Equatorial coordinate lines
I Time, Observation Point Name, Latittude and Longitude
U Umbra( only in eclipse mode )
P Penumbra( only in eclipse mode )
Time speed settings
C Forward( [shift+C] Fast forward )
X Stop
Z Reverse( [shift+Z] Fast reverse )
R Adjust to computer's time setting

*Shortcut keys can be used whenever the Solar System Simulator is active. if shortcut keys do not work, try clicking (selecting) on the simulator screen to fix the problem.
*Shortcut keys work only when the keyboard is set to alphanumeric input (direct input) mode.
