3.5 Using the Media Viewer
Sssim Studio has also been designed for explaining astronomical phenomena and presentations to an audience on simulation screens projected by projectors or on large screens by operating the Control Window. It has a "Media Viewer" function to readily show images and movies.
* Observe the copyrights of images and movies used.* The current Media Viewer display format available is Bmp/Jpeg/Png/Gif for image files and AVI/WMV for movie files.

1) Displaying link images and movies
If links are provided to images and movie files on pages displayed by the Contents Browser, you can show these on the simulation screen by simply clicking on these links.
2) Displaying by drag & drop
If you find images and movies with the Contents Browser or any other web browser (Explorer, etc.) which you want to show on your content pages, you can drag and drop these on the Show button of the Media Viewer Controller at the bottom of the Contents Browser to show them in the Media Viewer Window. You can also show images and movies dragging and dropping image and movie file icons from Explorer to the Show button.
In addition, you can collect frequently used images and movies in a folder, drag and drop this folder icon from the explorer to the Contents Browser to display the contents of the folder in the Contents Browser. Change the view style of this folder to Thumbnail style (right click the background and choose View->Thumbnails from the popup menu), and bookmark it.
3) Showing / Hiding the Media Viewer Window
Click on the Show button of the Media Viewer Controller to show / hide the Media Viewer Window. (Displaying images and movies in the Media Viewer Window may hide the Simulation Window behind the Media Viewer Window. In this case, click on the Show button to hide the Media Viewer Window and show the Simulation Window.)
4) Controlling movies
When showing movie media, you can control movie playback using the Show and Pause buttons of the Media Controller. In addition, by selecting the Playback control checkbox, you can also output the playback control GUI of Windows Media Player at the bottom of the Media Viewer Window.
