5. Key Shortcuts Reference


Space View Mode

Left Dragging For browsing space with the selected celestial body in the center.
Right Dragging Approaches/distances to/from the selected celestial body.
[Left]/[Right] Switches the selected celestial body.
[Up]/[Down] Switches the observing location.
[Shift]+[Space] Switches to the Ground Observation Mode (lands on the selected celestial body/viewing location).

Ground Observation Mode

Left Dragging Looks around the observation location.
Right Dragging Widens/narrows the view angle (zoom).
[Up]/[Down] Changes the observation location.
[Shift]+[Space] Switches to the Ground Observation Mode (lands on the selected celestial body/observation location).

Observation Location Settings

[Shift]+[Left]/[Right] Changes the latitude.
[Shift]+[Up]/[Down] Changes the longitude.

Date/Time Speed Settings

[C] Speed up time. (Accelerates more with [Shift]+[C])
[X] Stops time.
[Z] Slows down time. (Decelerates more with [Shift]+[C])
[R] Adjust to the current date and time.

Showing/Hiding Objects

[N] Shows/hides celestial body name.
[O] Shows/hides orbits.
[S] Magnifies the displayed celestial body radius.
[A] Shows/hides the spin axis.
[H] Headlight (Lights the night side of celestial bodies).
[I] Shows/hides the information console.
[G] Shows/hides nebulas and star clusters.
[F] Shows/hides fixed stars.
[L] Shows/hides constellations.
[E] Shows/hides equatorial coordinates.
[M] Shows/hides the Milky Way.
[B] Shows/hides the asteroid belt.
[U] Shows/hides the umbra.
[P] Shows/hides the penumbra.
[D] Shows/hides dusts and shooting stars.
